This week marks a very special milestone for the Salem Conference Center.  As of March 18, solar panels have generated power at the Salem Conference Center for one year. The SANYO HIT Power® 220A solar panel 99-kilowatt system was installed in March 2011. The 2012 Mid-Valley Green Awards will be held here at The Salem Conference Center on Saturday, March 3rd, 2012 at 5:00 pm. There was much excitement in our community earlier this month when Willamette University inaugurated new president, Dr. Stephen E. Thorsett.
